Tourism and passenger information desks at Florence Amerigo Vespucci are located in the arrivals terminal building and open between 07:30 to 23:30. Operated by friendly and helpful staff, FLR Airport's information desks provide a wide range of useful travel information about flights, airlines and climatic conditions, as well as Tuscany, Florence (Firenze) and other areas of Italy.

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets

Good shopping facilities are concentrated in the gallery area of the main departures terminal building. Shops include newsagents, gift shops selling souvenirs of Florence and Italy, and two popular duty-free shops, selling a wide range of airport duty-free goods, such as alcohol, tobacco, fragrances, cosmetics and electrical goods. The onsite duty-free shops open between the hours of 06:00 to 18:30.

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants

There are numerous places to eat at Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, including a selection of snack and espresso bars, self-service restaurants and fast-food outlets. Situated in both FLR's arrivals and departures terminal buildings, these eateries serve classic cuisine from Italy, international dishes and snack foods, such as pastries, cakes, sandwiches and bagels. A number of convenient vending machines are also to be found here, dispensing basic refreshments and confectionary.

Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities

Currency exchange and banking facilities are available onsite. Travellers can expect to find a number of airport ATM cashpoint machines and bureau de changing facilities, providing competitive rates of foreign currency exchange.

Business and Conference Facilities

Business and conference facilities are available at Amerigo Vespucci Airport and can be found in the Departures Terminal building, on the first floor. Featuring a wide range of services, business facilities include the 'Masaccio Lounge', which is equipped with a work area, office equipment, computers, Internet access, telephones and newspapers from around the world. A spacious meeting / training room is also available in the Arrival Terminal and features business catering and presentation equipment if required.

Disabled Facilities

Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR) is fully physically-accessible for travellers with disabilities and special needs. Disabled facilities include helpful airport staff, wheelchairs, free medical assistance, disabled toilets, adapted telephone booths, wide lifts / elevators and disabled car parking bays close to both terminals. It is always a sensible idea for disabled passengers to inform the resident staff of any special requirements prior to arriving. Other Facilities
